Caroline is a mother to three adult daughters, past semi-pro athlete, and registered dietitian. Soon, it will be 30 years that Caroline has dedicated herself to guiding clients on their journey to a healthier life. She believes that your knowledge and mindset are the key drivers to any change, including weight release. Even if you think you have tried it all, Caroline invites you to explore mindful and intuitive eating strategies with her to help you experience the satisfaction of reaching your goals.

She stands for women not struggling with their food choices and weight anymore. Her driving force is to disrupt the dieting industry and do away with quick fixes that promise improved health and weight loss.

After cycling across Canada, she learned that anything is possible if it is broken down into manageable steps. She has the ability to help her clients find the answers to question they never knew they had.

After becoming accidentally overweight she has released the weight and founded a program to help women do the same. Coupled with three decades of experience she has helped countless people step back into their magnificence to live the rest of their life to their full potential.

Outside of work Caroline loves to recharge by connecting with nature and going on a stroll in the woods or on a ride with her bicycle group. The closeness to nature is what drew her from Toronto to Vancouver.

Avi is a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia. Avi began her journey in Ontario, at a medical clinic, counselling patients with diabetes, elevated cholesterol, low iron, diverticulitis and weight gain/loss. She then moved to her hometown of Winnipeg, MB to work with patients living in long-term care centres. Avi loves working with groups and has done seminars in various settings including healthy aging for seniors, cooking demos for pre & post natal groups and nutrition tips for youth in sports.

Avi has a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutritional Sciences from the University of Manitoba. She has also completed a 10 month dietetic internship program, with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, in which she gained experience in Diabetes, General Medicine, Outpatients, Rehab and Oncology. Through her years in practice, Avi has been drawn to Women’s Health and is currently in pursuit of education and training with PCOS, PMS and Menopause.

Avi understands that with a busy lifestyle, healthy eating can sometimes seem like a chore. She believes food should be simple, fun & tasty. She is here to help you achieve a healthy balance that fits your schedule and needs. Using a holistic approach, she will discuss with you your lifestyle, stress level, energy, sleep quality as well as your current and past eating behaviours. She will work with you to help you determine specific health goals and help you successfully incorporate realistic daily changes into your life that are sustainable.   When not working, you can find Avi on a nature walk, exploring local cafes, restaurants & markets, or modifying classic recipes in the kitchen.

Marina Balic, BSc, RD, CDE is a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia. Marina graduated with an honours dietetics degree from the University of British Columbia, and did her dietetic internship with Fraser Health Authority. Marina is also a Certified Diabetes Educator, which is a health care professional that is specialized and certified to teach people with diabetes how to manage their condition and prevent long-term complications. Marina started off her career working with critically ill patients as a clinical Dietitian at Royal Columbian Hospital, Burnaby Hospital, and Eagle Ridge Hospitals. She then realized the importance of preventative health, and decided to focus her practice on working with clients one-on-one. Marina has been working closely with clients living with Type 1, Type 2, and Pre-Diabetes at Diabetes Health Centres for over 3 years. Through her work in this area, she regularly counsels’ people who are also living with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and also celiac disease. She practices with a weight-inclusive, body-positive approach and prefers to focus on chronic disease management that still allows you to include foods you enjoy, without the guilt. Marina also has extensive experience working with pregnant patients living with conditions such as gestational diabetes and with severe nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. In her time working as a Dietitian in a maternity clinic, she has gained a passion for understanding the best science-based nutrition practices for pregnant women and how to support expecting mama’s through this exciting stage in life. Marina’s goal is to empower you to feel confident in your journey towards a healthy body. In her free time, Marina likes to go on adventures, backpacking, camping, biking, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
